My girlfriend and I stopped in last week, simply to browse since we hadn't ever been in before. We got to talking with John about the issues I've been having with my feet and current set of boots; he had a vast amount of knowledge, and a fancy machine thingy, that helped "read" my foot and gait. He had multiple different styles, sizes, widths, etc etc anything you could ever really need. Time was short for us so we had to leave without purchasing anything; this did not seem to bother John at all, he was happy to have simply helped us.

My very next work day, I put on my old crusty pair of work boots and experienced all my usual problems with them. So as soon as I was off, I headed straight back to Work Outfitters. John was once again a pleasure and got me into the perfect boot. There was never any felt pressure to make a sale, no price gouging or upselling, he really wanted to make sure I was taken care of; and I was!

This very well may be the best customer experience I have ever had. Stop shopping at the big box stores, digging through piles of boxes with no one to help in sight, or online where you can't even sniff the boot if ya wanted to. Come see John and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

When I recently got a pair that wasn't working for me, they were understanding, efficient, and accommodating with the return process. I went shopping on 10/26/2024. I knew what I wanted when I went in but due to the great amount of inventory, I was presented with multiple options based on my situation. I wanted insulated work boots and John took his time giving me the pros and cons of certain boots. Upon trying them on, my ankle socks I wore were too short for the 8” boot. John quickly grabbed a wool sock and explain how beneficial these would be along with the boots themselves. After conversation and trying them on, I got the shoes that were the best choose for me going forward and a handful of socks to stay warm for upcoming PNW winter. Please support this small business! The reviews as well as mine are true to heart and appreciate the attention John gives to customer after customer.

I did not buy anything because I needed work shoes (nurse) and they sell boots here, BUT the owner knowing this still spent 30 minutes with me measuring my feet and teaching me about what I need knowing full well I wouldn’t be buying. Amazing customer service and truly loves to teach and help people regardless if they are making a sale. Support this place and defend this sweet man (and his dog) ❤️

A small local shop like this should be protected at all costs and should be supported by everyone in the community, stop shopping at big box stores or online, go to Work Outfitters. If you want quality boots and well educated answers to what’s best for you talk to John. He has ordered in multiple US Made boots for me and I will always shop here.

Great customer service. They seem more interested in taking care of their customers than maximizing profit which sets them apart from the competition.
