Delightful park in the center of the neighborhood. Metered street parking available around the park. There’s a closed off playground with a double-gate entrance making it extra secure for running toddlers.
A basketball court sits right next to the playground area separated by a fence. There are 2 types of play areas, one more suited for 2-5 year olds and the other 5-12. A fun 4-seater see-saw sits in the shade next to a larger 2-person see-saw. I liked the hideout area where they built a fortress and covered it with plants.
There’s also a section for sand play, and ample chairs and benches near shaded areas of the playground.

Absolutely love this playground. It’s clean with soft ground, a sand pit, bucket swings and slides for all ages. It’s even got shade and a giant fence! All of the parent, nannies and kids I’ve met are so kind, fun and inclusive.

Great park great community center
Lots of things going on. Small children can play at the playground. Lots of people exercising. There are two nice size basketball courts.
Some transients but the park feels safe although it smells like human waste in some sections of the park.
Overall a nice little park insanta monica.

***as im writing this i witnessed a park employee shovel human poop and walk it to the restroom an flush it

Cute little park in a quiet part of Santa Monica. In the northern corner near the intersection of California and Lincoln, there are three wooden chess tables for visitors to use. Pieces are not provided, and one table has a bench removed to allow access for wheelchairs. There are large trees nearby, but the shade does not reach the tables.

Beautiful park! However, if you’re coming as a Linkin Park/Chester Bennington fan, you won’t find anything mentioning them here. You can still enjoy a short stroll though!
