Imagine a looooooong road with nowhere else to stop, except a location highly recommended by Burntcoat head parks website. This is it. Didn't use the restaurant just the store. It's basically like your workplace vending machine but in a store format, also because there is barely any service. If prepackaged sandwiches are your thing, this is the place for you! It's like walking into the set of the acclaimed show Corner Gas, without the laughs or good times. Be prepared to overspend on this place as they know they are a "last resort" on this road

Went in and decided to get a slice of pizza. Looked yummy, smelled yummy and I had never had from there before. So, paid my 5$ for my slice and left to eat it on my way home.... Should have checked it before leaving. The crust wasn't just under done... It was more raw than it was cooked.
I then tried countless times to phone them and just let them know to not sell more of it. I recieved no answer, and this was the same with all three businesses there. Called all three repeatedly trying to reach someone and no one answered at all. Last time I stop in there unless I have to. Very disappointed.

Everyone was So so nice here. They made us feel so welcome and their fish and chips were spectacular. Great fries, coleslaw, and tartar sauce as well.

Ice cream place next door was awesome too!

STOP AND EAT HERE

Do yourself a favour and be sure to stop here for the fish and chips. They are very good. Jay told my wife and I that he had a new crispy batter and wanted our opinion. The batter was very light and crispy. It retained its crispiness until the last bite disappeared. The fries were very good (not frozen). The price was very reasonable as well. Jay was very pleasant and outgoing, we had. A nice chat when we told him how much we enjoyed our lunch, we sat a table outside overlooking the water. Of course we couldn’t just have fish and chips, we went for the ice cream as well, 12 flavours and also soft serve available. Extremely generous portions were given.
This is a stop worth making.
